Recipe For A Cheesy Sausage And Egg Breakfast Slider

Share this post:

The Cheesy Sausage and Egg Breakfast Rolls are a completely loaded perfectly portable hand held breakfast. All of your favorite breakfast ingredients come together with the most incredible and unexpected glaze to create the amazing Brinner (breakfast or dinner).

These Cheesy Sausage and Egg Breakfast Sliders begin with a package of sweet Hawaiian dinner rolls and they are filled with your favorite breakfast ingredients.

Scrambled eggs, pork sausage rolls, and 2 types of cheese are loaded on top of a sweet Hawaiian dinner roll and topped with an incredible sweet maple butter glaze and baked in the oven.

It gets even better than that; you could make these for tailgating. Prepare them the night before in a foil pan and put them in the oven in the morning.

I‘m going to let you all know that you can pick up Jones Dairy Farm products at a local retailer. The company’s products are distributed all over the country, so be sure to check out their product locator in order to see where you can pick some up. If you are looking for the breakfast sausage, it’s in the freezer section!

  • 2 (12 oz) Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Pork Sausage Rolls
  • 8 large eggs, scrambled
  • 12 Hawaiian dinner rolls
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Half a cup butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Warm large skillet on a medium heat.

Form sausage into 12 pasties, slightly larger than one dinner roll. Add the sausage to skillet and cook until they are completely cooked.

Meanwhile, with a serrated knife, cut the rolls in half lengthways (without breaking apart).

Place the bottom half of rolls in around 7×10-inch or 9×13-inch baking dish; set the tops aside.Scoop the scrambled eggs onto the bottom rolls; and then top with pepper jack. Place the sausage on top of pepper jack and top with American cheese. Then you need to carefully top with top buns.Combine the melted butter and maple syrup in small bowl.

Now you need to brush over tops of rolls and on that way you will allow the sauce to drip down the sides and into bottom. Use the entire amount.Bake around 15-20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted. Serve and enjoy!

In order to make for tailgating use a disposable foil pan or wrap individually in foil and keep them warm. Sliders could be prepared a day ahead and popped in the oven before the big game.
